Attaching the tablet bracket to the machine
1. Locate the three button head flange screws (see
Parts List, item G).
2. Place the tablet bracket (see Parts List, item F) on
top of the Gallant machine and align the three
screw inserts.
3. Insert the three screws through the three holes
through the bracket and into the Gallant machine.
4. Tighten the three screws firmly with a 2.5mm L hex
wrench.
Attaching the tablet to the machine
1. Loosen the knob on the back of the tablet mount
and raise the top of the mount.
2. Tilt the tablet (see Parts List, item M) out slightly at
the top, snap it down into the lower mount tabs,
and tilt the tablet back.
3. Lower the top of the mount down to the tablet
until the mount top tabs snap on to the tablet, and
tighten the knob firmly by hand.
4. Ensure the tablet is held firmly in the mount; if it is
not, repeat step 3 and press the top of the mount
down firmly onto the tablet before tightening the
knob.
5. Plug in the power cable (see Parts List, item K)
from the Gallant into the right side of the tablet.
Be sure the cable is plugged into the power jack
(right side), not the headphone jack (left side).
6. Plug the USB cable (see Parts List, item L) into the
front left side
of the quilting
machine and
into the left side
of the tablet.
