Handset settings
If you have saved a picture in an invalid
data format, you will see an error message
after selecting the entry. Cancel the oper-
ation with Î. Delete the picture

During playback:

Renaming/deleting a picture
You have selected an entry.
Open menu.

If a picture cannot be deleted (è), these
options are not available. Depending on
the situation, you can select the following
functions:
Delete Entry
The selected entry is deleted.
Delete List
All entries in the list that can be deleted
are deleted.
Rename
Change the name (max. 16 characters)
and press
. The entry is saved with

the new name.

Activating/deactivating
advisory tones
Your handset uses "advisory tones" to tell
you about different activities and statuses.
The following advisory tones can be acti-
vated/deactivated independently of each
other:

Key click: Every key press is confirmed.

Acknowledge tones:
– Confirmation tone (ascending tone
sequence): at the end of an entry/
setting and when a new entry
arrives in the call history
– Error tone (descending tone
sequence): when you make an
incorrect entry
– Menu end tone: when scrolling at
the end of a menu
u
Battery tone: The batteries need to be
charged.
In idle status:

In
warning tone is only activated/deacti-
vated and only sounds during a call.

You cannot deactivate the confirmation
tone for placing the handset in the base
station.
Please note:
You can also set the call volume, ringer tones
and advisory tones using the menu.
