DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION

6
POWER/PROTECT
If the blue LED lights up, the amplifier is ready for operation. If the red LED lights up, there is a mal-
function. Refer in this case to chapter TROUBLE SHOOTING on page 24.
7
BASS LEVEL CONTROLLER
This port is for connecting the cable of the included bass level remote controller. With this, the bass
level can be e.g. be adjusted from the driver's seat. Only use the supplied bass remote controller and
the associated cable.
8
BASS BOOST
This controller adjusts the bass boost from 0 dB to +12 dB at 45 Hz.
LOW PASS
9
This controller limits the frequency of the audio signal upwards. The crossover frequency is adjustable
from 40 Hz to 150 Hz.
10
SUB SONIC
This controller limits the ultra low and not audible frequencies of the audio signal downwards to avoid
mechanical and electrical overloading on the subwoofer. The crossover frequency is adjustable from
10 to 35 Hz and depends on the size of the subwoofer.
PHASE SHIFT
11
This controller allows to adjust the phase between 0° and 180°. This allows that the running time of the
subwoofer signal can be matched to the full-range loudspeakers. Set the controller so that all signals
arrive in the acoustic center at the same time.
LEVEL
12
This controller determines the input sensitivity, to adapt the incoming signal from the head unit.
HI LEVEL INPUT
13
If your head unit does not have RCA preamp outputs, you can use the HI LEVEL INPUT. To do this,
simply connect the loudspeaker cables of the head unit to the included 5-pin cable harness.
14
LINE IN
Connect the LINE IN RCA jacks with the head unit by using appropriate audio signal cables.
