Remove the upper case

Make sure the following FRUs (CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 28
"Remove the battery pack" on page 29
"Remove the solid-state drive (SSD) module" on page 30
"Remove the Wi-Fi card" on page 31
"Remove the speakers" on page 32
"Remove the I/O board cable" on page 32
"Remove the touchpad board cable" on page 33
"Remove the heat sink" on page 34
"Remove the fans" on page 35
"Remove the I/O board" on page 36
"Remove the system board and the I/O board FPC" on page 37
"Remove the LCD module" on page 40

Disassemble the LCD module

The LCD module as a whole is not a FRU. Instead, it contains FRUs as its components. Before
disassembling the LCD module, make sure it has been detached from the upper case.

Remove the hinge cover

Make sure the following FRU (or CRU) has been removed.
"Remove the LCD module" on page 40
