Fitting the steering column
Release the clamping lever in an anti-clockwise
direction

Tip the steering column forwards into the required
position

Tighten the clamping lever in a clockwise direc-
tion
to lock the steering column in this position.

You can use the fuel tap to open and close the
supply of fuel to the left and right fuel tanks.

Note
There is a petrol tap located on each petrol
tank (depending on the design). The petrol
tanks can be used together or even individu-
ally.
If both petrol taps are opened, and one of
the petrol tanks is empty, the engine will not
start. In order to be able to start the engine,
shut the petrol tap if the empty tank or top it
up.
Engaging / disengaging the parking
brake
To engage the parking brake, pull the lever [A]
backwards to the stop until it latches in
forwards
and simultaneously press the

Starting the motor needs the parking brake
activated due to the safety locking system.
If you press one of the drive pedals with the
parking brake activated, the engine shuts
down automatically through the safety lock-
ing system.
