Start-up

Start-up
Check:
• all protective features
• the engine-oil level (see the engine handbook)
• the fuel level
• tyre pressure
• the side coverings, accessory equipment, the
• all fasteners
Fill up with fuel and check the oil level
Note on engine oil
the factory – please check the oil, if required
Note on fuel

Max = Tank full
Min = Tank almost empty; please top up

Use unleaded petrol.
Fill fuel tank up to max. 2 cm below the lower
edge of the inlet nozzle.
Seal the fuel tank tightly.
Check the oil level. The oil level must be between
the "Full/Max." and "Add/Min." mark (see also
engine manual).
Check tyre pressure
Note
may be higher than required.
Check the tyre pressure on all wheels and correct
it where necessary (for max. tyre pressure, see
tyre wall).

Setting the driver's seat
(depending on model and design)
Longitudinal adjustment
Sit on the driver's seat.
Press the adjustment lever to the right and keep it
held
Bring the seat to the desired position

Move the armrests upwards
Turn the adjusting segment into the required posi-
tion
Move the armrests downwards.
Adjusting the lumbar support
To obtain the required setting, push the lever
downwards or pull it upwards
Adjusting the backrest inclination angle
To obtain the required angle of inclination, turn the
control knob forwards or backwards
Setting the driver's weight
The adjustment mechanism for the weight-
dependent seat suspension allows for adjustment to
the driver's weight of between 46-127 kg.
Mechanical adjustment:
Increasing the seat hardness / carrying capacity
Turn the rotary knob in a clockwise direction until
the required seat hardness has been reached
Reducing the seat hardness / carrying capacity
Turn the rotary knob in an anti-clockwise direc-
tion until the required seat hardness has been
reached
Electrical adjustment:
Increasing the seat hardness / carrying capacity
Turn the adjustment lever in an anti-clockwise di-
rection until the required seat hardness has been
reached
Reducing the seat hardness / carrying capacity
Turn the adjustment lever in a clockwise direc-
tion until the required seat hardness has been
reached
Note
have an adjustable seat with a built-in pres-
ence sensor and a retractable seat strap.
