Applications

The device is designed for use on machines and plants whose motions or moving parts can
constitute a hazard to personnel or machinery.
The device constantly performs standstill monitoring.
With the corresponding circuitry and suitable additional components (such as drives, sensors
and tripping elements), the 3TK2810-0 can be used to implement the safety functions STO
(Safe Torque Off) from the IEC 61800-5-2 standard.
