To lock the trigger switch ON, squeeze the trigger as far as it will go, push in
lock button and release trigger.
To unlock lock button, squeeze trigger and release, leaving lock button free
to spring out.
CAUTION: To avoid personal injury or damage to finished work
always allow the motor to come to a COMPLETE STOP before
setting it down.

OVERLOAD PROTECTION

MODEL 7538 is equipped with a thermal type circuit breaker (G) Fig. 12,
located in the top of the motor. This circuit breaker will "trip" OFF if
prolonged overload conditions are encountered.
If the circuit breaker "trips", switch the motor OFF:
1.
Release trigger switch (A) Fig. 11, to OFF position.
2.
Determine cause of the overload (i.e. dull bit, low voltage, excessive feed
rate, etc.) and correct before continuing.
3.
Allow router to cool for three minutes.
4.
Reset circuit breaker by depressing the ON end of circuit breaker.
CAUTION: Make sure trigger switch is OFF before resetting circuit
breaker to avoid accidental start-up.
5.
Restart router following the instructions in TO START AND STOP
ROUTER.
MODEL 7539 is equipped with an internal overload protector that will shut
motor OFF if prolonged overload conditions are encountered.
If the motor stops during use:
1.
Release the trigger switch (A) Fig. 11, into the OFF position.
2.
Determine cause of overload (i.e. dull bit, low voltage, excessive feed
rate, etc.) and correct before continuing.
3.
Allow router to cool for three minutes.
4.
Restart router following the instructions in TO START AND STOP
ROUTER.
