Note:
If the retaining notches are damaged:
1. Remove the appropriate side cover.
2. Use a self tapping screw to secure the assembly to the appliance
(Figure 5-8, Item B).
Future access to the switches will require the side cover to be removed
from the appliance to access the screw installed.
Important!
After installing the torsion spring, perform the "Door Safety Switches –
Adjustment" (Refer to Section 5.9) and perform the Microwave Leakage
Test (Refer to Section 5.11).

Door Safety Switches - Adjustment

Note:
After service or repair work on the door or on the door locks, the door
position must be set to ensure the door can be safely locked and that any
microwave leakage rate is within the required limits.
Before performing this procedure: the door lock assembly, control panel
and retaining strip must be.
The appliance must be disconnected from power (breaker off,
unplugged etc...) before performing this procedure.
Parts Required:
(3) Magnetic Shim Strips (blue) 25x70x.8 mm (Miele Part #05055650)
(3) Magnetic Shim Strips (brown) 25x70x1.5 mm (Miele Part #05057340)

Support Center at: 800-999-1360.
