Read and understand entire
Safety section before proceeding.
SERVICE ACCESS
CAUTION: Shut off the engine
before servicing the mower.
Make sure the seat is fully raised
and locked before performing
any maintenance on the mower.
The seat can come down very
quickly once the seat lock lever
is released. Lower the seat
slowly making sure to pay close
attention that everything is clear.
Raise the seat to access the battery and the
hydraulic reservoir. Use caution while lifting
and make sure the seat is locked in the
upright position before beginning service on
the mower.
Tipping Seat Forward
To lower the seat back down, push forward
on the seat slightly and pull the seat support
bar rearward out of the lock position. Lower
the seat slowly back into contact with the
frame.
NOTE: If unit is equipped with ROPS, the
seat latch must be engaged. Lift on seat to
make sure it is latched once lowered back
into position.
CAUTION: Ensure that seat lock
is latched and fully engaged
when returning seat plate to
operating position.

SERVICE AND ADJUSTMENTS

LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE
Engine Oil Level
IMPORTANT: Failure to check the engine oil
level regularly could lead to serious engine
problems if oil is too low.
1. Park the unit on level ground and shut
off the engine.
2. Clean the area around the engine
dipstick before removing it.
3. Remove the dipstick and wipe it off.
4. Momentarily reinstall the dipstick in the
engine (without turning it) and check that
the oil level is between the upper and
lower limit on the dipstick.
5. Add oil as necessary to achieve required
level. 
DO NOT overfill.
6. Reinstall and tighten the dipstick.
7. Clean any spilled oil.
IMPORTANT: Use only the oil specified for
use in the engine manual.
