By-Pass Valves Always provide for the installation of a by-pass valve if unit is not equipped with one. CAUTION W ater pressure is not to exceed 125 psi (8.6 bar), water temperature is not to exceed 110°F (43°C), and the unit cannot be subjected to freezing conditions. Installation Instructions 1. Place the softener tank where you want to install the unit making sure the unit is level and on a firm base.

    SYSTEM DISINFECTION Powerhead Assembly The system is not intended to be used for the treating water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Disinfection of Water Softeners The materials of construction of the modern water softener will not support bacterial growth, nor will these materials contaminate a water supply.
