Band Comp/Lim

This effect is a compressor that splits sounds into different frequency band to unify their volumes.
BC SW (switch)
Off, On
Turns the band compressor or limiter effect on/off.
BC Cross (crossover)
200 – 800 – 2000
Adjusts the frequency at which the frequency components of the direct sound are split into high and low bands
and the compressor is applied.
BCL Thrsh (low threshold)
0 – +100 – +127
Adjust the level at which the effect will begin to apply (low range). To use this effect as a limiter, set a high
Threshold Level.
BCL Ratio (low ratio)
1.0:1, 1.2:1, 1.5:1, 2.0:1, 2.8:1, 4.0:1, 8.0:1, 16.0:1, inf.:1
Select the compression ratio that will apply when the Threshold Level is exceeded (low range). When using the
effect as a limiter, you will normally set this to "inf.:1."
BCL Atk (low attack)
0.25 – 10.0 – 100.0 ms
Adjust the time from when the input level exceeds the threshold level to when the effect begins to apply. When
using the effect as a limiter, set a short Attack Time.
BCL Rels (low release)
50 – 500 – 5000 ms
Adjust the time from when the input level drops below the threshold level to when the effect ceases to apply (low
range). When using the effect as a limiter, set a short Release Time.
BCL Gain (low gain)
-6 – +10 – +18 dB
Adjusts the output gain (low range).
BCL Lev (low level)
0 – +127
Adjusts the volume (low range).
BCH Thrsh (high threshold)
0 – +100 – +127
Adjust the level at which the effect will begin to apply (high range). To use this effect as a limiter, set a high
Threshold Level.
BCH Ratio (high ratio)
1.0:1, 1.2:1, 1.5:1, 2.0:1, 2.8:1, 4.0:1, 8.0:1, 16.0:1, inf.:1
Select the compression ratio that will apply when the Threshold Level is exceeded (high range). When using the
effect as a limiter, you will normally set this to "inf.:1."
