Vocal/Bass Multi
Vocal/Bass Multi is an algorithm suited to recording vocals or bass through a mike. In addition to such effects as
a compressor to suppress differences in volume levels, and an enhancer to add modulation to sounds, it can also
add spatial echoes with delay and reverb. Also, by using the lo-fi saturator in addition to ordinary vocals you can
create lo-fi sounds like those recorded with older audio equipment.

Depending on the setting of the parameters, this effect can be used as a compressor or as a limiter. A compressor
holds down high-level signals and boosts low-level signals, evening out the volume. A limiter is used when you
wish to hold down excessive input levels.
CL SW (switch)
Off, On
Turns the compressor limiter effect on/off.
CL Thrsh (threshold)
0 – +96 – +127
Adjusts the level at which the effect will begin to apply. To use this effect as a limiter, set a high Threshold Level.
CL Ratio (ratio)
1.0:1, 1.2:1, 1.5:1, 2.0:1, 2.8:1, 4.0:1, 8.0:1, 16.0:1, inf.:1
Select the compression ratio that will apply when the Threshold Level is exceeded. When using the effect as a
limiter, you will normally set this to "inf.:1."
CL Atk (attack)
0.25 – 10.0 – 100.0 ms
Adjust the time from when the input level exceeds the threshold level to when the effect begins to apply. When
using the effect as a limiter, set a short Attack Time.
CL Rels (release)
50 – 500 – 5000 ms
Adjust the time from when the input level drops below the threshold level to when the effect ceases to apply.
When using the effect as a limiter, set a short Release Time.
CL Gain (gain)
-6 – +6 – +18 dB
Adjusts the output gain.
CL Lev (level)
0 – +100 – +127
Adjusts the volume.
