Creating an original song (pattern)
■ Making a one-measure pattern into a four-measure
pattern
Let's create a four-measure pattern by copying the one-measure pattern you just
recorded.
Make sure that pattern "U:001" is selected in Pattern mode.
1.
Press [F2 (Edit)].
The Pattern Edit Menu screen will appear.

Make sure that both "Source From" and "Source End" are set to "1."
If they are set to anything other than "1," press [CURSOR (left/right)] to move the
cursor, and turn [VALUE] to select "1."
3.
Press [F2 (Copy)].
The Copy sub-window will appear.
4.
Make sure that "Event" is set to "ALL."
If this is set to anything other than "ALL," turn [VALUE] to select "ALL."
5.
Hold down [SHIFT] and press [PART ASSIGN].
All of the part buttons will go dark.
6.
Press part buttons [2], [3], and [10] to make them light.
The copy will be executed only for part 2, part 3, and part 10.
7.
Press [F6 (Select)].
