Lift the chassis up, and then route the display cable (3) and the backlight cable (4) through the holes in
the chassis.

Remove the chassis from the display panel.

Remove the seven screws that secure the plastic frame from the display, and then lift the frame off the
display.
IMPORTANT:
reuse any old parts. Return all old parts to HP for warranty processing.
CAUTION:
to use the correct cable may result in panel failure.
To replace the rear enclosure and main chassis, reverse the removal procedures.
