Threading the needle thread
~
Switch off the on / off switch
Raise the presser bar lifter (20) and turn the
handwheel until the take-up lever (19) has
moved to the top. Place the thread on the
spool holder (24) and f it the corresponding
unwinding disk.
Now. using both hands. pull the thread into
guide A and under thread guide hook D. Pass
the thread through the lefthand th reading slot
(17) and downwa rds. Pul l the thread around
stop E into the righthand threading slot and
upwards to the take-up lever (19). The thread
must be pul led into the take up lever (19) from
left to right and downwards again in the righ-
thand threading slot. Finally. pass the thread
from the side behind one of the two thread
guides (32).
