    • Some cable systems and copy protection systems may interfere with the closed captioned signal. • If using an indoor antenna or if TV reception is very poor, the closed caption decoder may not appear or may appear with strange characters or misspelled words.     Duplicating a video tape If you connect the TV/VCR/DVD to another VCR or camcorder, you can duplicate a previously recorded tape. Make all connections before turning on the power. Load a blank cassette tape with the erase preven- tion tab intact into the recording unit.

    Disc This TV/VCR/DVD applies to DVD discs from Region 1 or ALL. The loaded Disc (DVD, Audio-CD and mp3/WMA/JPEG-CD) will be recognized automatically. The suitable Disc-formats are: DVD, CD, CD-R/RW and DVD-R/RW (Video format only). Some CD-R/RW and DVD-R/RW discs may be incompatible.

    Use the following check list for troubleshooting when you have problems with your TV/VCR/DVD. Consult your local dealer or service outlet if problems persist. Be sure all connections are properly made when using with other units. SYMPTOMS POWER No power.

    Video head clogging The video heads are the means by which the TV/VCR/DVD reads the picture from the tape during playback. In the unlikely event that the heads become dirty enough to be clogged, no picture will be played back. This can easily be determined if, during playback of a known good tape, there is good sound, but no picture (picture is extremely snowy).
