Dial, delete and edit a directory entry

Edit a directory entry

1. While reviewing a directory entry, press
Enter number with the current number of the entry.
2. Use the dialing keys to edit the number (up to 30 digits).
Press CID or DIR to move the cursor to the left

or right.

dialing pause (a P appears).

• Press and hold

Copy a number from the redial list by pressing REDIAL/
CID or DIR, or pressing REDIAL/
number. Press
/SELECT to save the number. The screen shows Enter name
3. Press
MENU
briefly and then the current name of the entry.
4. Edit the characters.
Press 0 to add a space.

• Press CID or DIR to move the cursor to the left
or right.

• Press and hold
/SELECT to save. The handset shows the updated entry.
5. Press

/PAUSE to enter a 3-second
REDIAL
/DELETE to erase a digit.
/DELETE to erase all digits.

/SELECT to copy the number.

/DELETE to erase a character.
/DELETE to erase all characters.
