If the rear view camera is active and you
shift from reverse gear to the drive position,
the view automatically switches from the
rear view camera to the front camera.
The front camera and rear view camera are only
an aid. They are not a substitute for your atten‐
tion to the surroundings. The responsibility for
safe maneuvering and parking remains with you.
Make sure that there are no persons, animals or
objects etc., in the maneuvering area while
maneuvering and parking.
The area behind the vehicle is displayed as a
mirror image, as in the inside rearview mirror.
You can switch between various views in the
multimedia system, not just between the front
camera and rear view camera.

Dynamic guide lines in the camera image show
the path the vehicle will take with the steering
wheel in its current position. This helps you to
orient yourself and to avoid obstacles when
maneuvering.

The guide lines in the media display show the
distances to your vehicle. The distances dis‐
played only apply to road level.
