Liquid detergent
This dishwasher can be fitted with an
external dispenser pump for liquid
detergent (DOS module).
See "Settings menu - External
dispensing" to activate the dispenser
pump and set the dosage.
For special soiling and if using liquid
detergent, contact Miele for advice on
how to set the dosage for best results.
Refilling or changing
containers
The dispensing module is equipped
with a level monitoring function.
detergent will appear in the display when
the level drops below the minimum.
 As soon as the message appears in
the display, refill or replace the
container with a full one containing
the appropriate process chemical at
the end of the programme.
 Confirm the message shown with the
OK button.
Replace the container in good time
to prevent the dispensing system
being emptied completely.
An empty dispensing system must
be vented before starting the next
programme.
 Place the container on the open
dishwasher door or on a surface
which is easy to clean.
 Take the lid off the media canister
and remove the suction lance. Place
the suction lance on the open wash
cabinet door.
 Fill or replace the container, fit the
suction lance and secure the lid.
Observe the colour coding.
Refill
 Feed the suction lance into the
canister until it reaches the bottom.
 Wipe up any spilled process chemical
thoroughly.
 Place the canister on the floor beside
the dishwasher or in an adjacent
cabinet. The container must be at the
same level as the appliance and not
be placed on top of or above the
appliance.
 The dispensing system must then be
vented.
Checking consumption
Monitor the amount of process
chemicals used by regularly checking
the level in the container in order to
detect any dispensing irregularities.

Changing detergent

If you want to change the detergent
used, the system must first be rinsed
through with water to avoid a reaction
between the different detergents.
