Initiate a Conference Call
You can initiate a conference by adding a contact to an active call. This merges the contacts into a
conference call. A single conference call can have up to four participants.
While the system can manage up to 12 conference calls, you can have only one active conference call at
a time. You can keep other conference calls on hold.
If your system administrator enables the conference management feature on your phone, you can
manage each participant in the call. With the conference management feature, you can mute, hold, and
remove individual participants in a conference call.
Procedure
1. Call a contact.
2. After the contact answers, select Add
3. Enter another contact's number or select a contact from Contacts or Recent Calls.
The system adds the contact to the conference call after the contact answers.
Merge Calls into a Conference Call
You can merge an active call and a held call to initiate a conference call.
Procedure
1. In the Calls screen, choose a held call.
2. Select Merge
The held call merges with the active call to initiate a conference call.
