A.1 Factory Reset
In the event that a reset is required, the 240/241 DriveRack™ units offer you the option of performing a "Soft" or "Hard"
reset. The Soft Reset resets all operating parameters except user programs. The Hard Reset Procedure will reset all pro-
grammable information back to the factory defaults.
240 Factory ("Hard") Reset
• Press and Hold the STORE button on power-up until the following message appears:
• Pressing the PREV PAGE button will start a Factory Reset (All User Programs will become copies of the
Factory Programs, all Utility settings will be defaulted, and all Security settings will be defaulted)
Pressing the PROGRAM button will abort the Factory Reset sequence and the unit will reset normally.
240 Factory ("Soft") Reset.
Press and Hold the POST -EQ button at power-up until the following message appears:
• Pressing the PREVPAGE button will start a System Reset (All Utility settings will be defaulted.)
• Pressing the PROGRAM button will abort the System Reset sequence and the unit will reset normally.
241 Factory ("Hard") Reset
• Press and hold the PROGRAM DOWN button on power-up until the following message appears in the 7-Seg
Display:
• Pressing the PROGRAM DOWN button will start a Factory Reset (All User Programs will
become copies of the Factory Programs, all Utility settings will be defaulted, and all

A.2 Power Up Quick Key Options
The DriveRack™ units offer several "Quick Key" options for initial power up and are as follow:
240 Power-Up Output Mute
Press and hold any of the mute buttons at power-up. All of the outputs will be muted when the program loads.
240 Change Initial Program Number
Press and hold PROGRAM button at power-up until the following message appears:
Press the PROGRAM button again when the selection is complete. Normal resetting will continue.

241 Power Up Quick Key options

PROGRAM CHANGE - Press and hold LOAD button on power-up: goes to program power up change mode.
FLASH SCREEN - Press and hold LOAD and UP buttons on power up: goes to flash screen.
