Canceling and resuming regular acceleration

Cruise control can be set when
●
The shift lever is in "D" or "4", "5" or "6" (6-speed models) or "4" or "5" (5-
speed models) range of "S".
●
Vehicle speed is more than approximately 40 km/h (25 mph).
■
Accelerating
The vehicle can be accelerated normally. After acceleration, the set speed
resumes.
■
Automatic cruise control cancelation
The set speed is automatically canceled in any of the following situations.
●
Actual vehicle speed falls more than approximately 16 km/h (10 mph)
below the preset vehicle speed.
At this time, the memorized set speed is not retained.
●
VSC is activated. (if equipped)
●
Actual vehicle speed is below approximately 40 km/h (25 mph).
●
The switching operation continues for 5 seconds or more after the center
differential lock switch has been operated.

Cancel
Pull the lever towards you to
cancel cruise control.
The speed setting is also can-
celed when the brakes are
applied.
Resume
To resume cruise control and
return to the set speed, push
the lever up.
