Shift ranges and their functions
Shift range
(6-speed models
only)
A lower shift range will provide greater engine braking force than a
higher shift range, and the engine revolutions will also increase.
For 6-speed models: for earlier selection of 6th gear, select shift
range "6" by holding the shift lever toward "+" for 1.5 seconds after
engine start, which allows earliest engagement of 6th gear.
