Fuel filler flap emergency release

Station wagon
The emergency release is located in the
luggage compartment behind the rear pan-
el trim.

1 Edge protection
2 Rear panel trim
Open the rear door.
Pull edge protection 1 away from the
door pillar.
Remove rear panel trim 2.

On vehicles with stowage boxes*, the
securing bolts in the stowage box must
be removed first.

3 Release band
Pull band 3 upwards.
The fuel filler flap is released and can
be opened.

The emergency release is located in the
left-hand side of the luggage compart-
ment.

Pull release pin 1 upwards.
