Export/Import
The Export/Import menu of the Desktop Utilities allows you to import
data created by each application to the unit, or export data created on
the PC to the unit by application data.
• Export: Select the desired application name, then click "Export...",
then enter the desired filename to which you wish to export data.
• Import: Select the desired application name, then click "Import...",
then enter the desired filename from which you wish to import data.
E-mail
The E-mail menu of the Desktop Utilities allows you to change settings
for downloading the e-mail body text.
• After last (1-31) days: Downloads e-mail messages (body text) in
the past days specified.
• Unread only: Downloads only the unread messages.
• Download E-Mails to unit after synchronization: Downloads the e-
mails when the synchronization is done.
• Download...: Downloads e-mail manually.
Serial port
The serial port menu of the Desktop Utilities allows you to change the
serial port settings and the password.
• Serial port: Specifies the serial port to connect the unit to the PC.
• Auto Detect: Click to initiate the automatic detection of the
appropriate serial port of your PC.
• Password: Enter the password of the unit, if set. The password
entry enables the access to the unit.

Downloading database
The Database menu of the Desktop Utilities allows you to download
database for the Word Translator / Spell Checker, and 5-Language
Phrase Mode from the CD-ROM.
1. Insert the PC software CD-ROM.
2. Click "Download" in the Database of the Desktop Utilities.
3. Select a file you wish to download, then click "Open".
Un-installing the PC software
Prior to uninstalling the PC software, quit all programs.
1. Within the Control Panel, launch "Add or Remove Programs". In the list
of installed software, select the PC software, then click the "Change/
Remove..." button.
2. When the Install Shield program screen appears, select "Remove",
then click "NEXT".
3. For the verification prompt, click on the "OK" button. When the
Uninstall window for the USB driver is displayed, disconnect the USB
cable and click "NEXT" to execute the un-installation procedure.
4. When the un-installation procedure is complete, click the "Finish"
button to finish.
