Initialize All Data/Settings Function

The Initialize All Data/Settings function is a standard function on all
Canon devices. This setting is available in the Management Mode, to
which the System Administrator must authenticate. Performing this
function, erases all user information on the hard disk drive of the
machine (e.g., contact information, Advance Box client data, network
settings, and image data) up to nine times, depending on the
Administrator settings.
IMPORTANT
The Initialize All Data/Settings function deletes the FAT (File Allocation
Table) and overwrites the target HDD data area with "0" (zeroes) one
time.
