PROBlEM
Jack will not lift the load.
Jack will not hold weight.
Jack will not descend to minimum
height, or will not remain in
lowered position.
Jack will not lift to max height.
Jack continues to malfunction.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

BE sURE TO FOllOW sAFETY RUlEs AnD insTRUCTiOns
POssiBlE CAUsE
Release valve not tightly closed.
Low oil level.
Defective or worn internal parts.
Load exceeds maximum allowance.
Release valve in open position.
Air trapped in system.
Reservoir oil overfilled.
Low oil level.
Internal malfunction or structural damage.
sOlUTiOn
Tighten release valve.
Check and add oil. Refer to Check or Refill Oil.
Discontinue use. Contact an authorised STANLEY repair centre to
have the jack checked and/or serviced.
Use a higher capacity jack.
Insure release valve in closed position.
Discontinue use. Contact an authorised STANLEY repair centre to
have the jack checked and/or serviced.
Vent air out of system. Refer to Air Venting Procedures.
Check and ensure proper oil level. Refer to Check or Refill Oil.
Check and ensure proper oil level. Refer to Check or Refill Oil.
Discontinue use. Contact an authorised STANLEY repair centre to
have the jack checked and/or serviced.
