Important safety note
•
The base must be installed so that the TV does not fall over and cause injury.
• Cleaning — Unplug the AC cord from the AC outlet before cleaning the product. Use a damp cloth to clean the product.
Do not use cleaning solutions, spray cleaners, or chemical cloths to clean the device, as these materials may damage
the product.
•
Water and moisture — Do not use the product near water, such as bathtubs, bathtubs, kitchen sinks, laundry basins, swimming pools, and on
damp surfaces.
• Do not place flowerpots or any water containers on this product. Water
may spill over the product causing fire or electric shock.
• Stand — Do not place the product on an unstable vehicle, base, tripod, or table. Doing so may cause the product to fall,
causing personal injury as well as damage to the product. Use only carts, stands, tripods, stands, or tables recommended
by the manufacturer or sold with the product. When mounting the product on a wall, be sure to follow the
manufacturer's instructions. Use only installation hardware recommended by the manufacturer.

When moving a product placed on a vehicle, the product must be moved with great care. Sudden stops, excessive force and
uneven floor surfaces may cause the product to fall out of the vehicle.
•
Ventilation — Vents and other openings in the case are designed for ventilation. Do not cover or block the ventilation holes and
these openings as insufficient ventilation can cause overheating and/or reduce the life of the product. Do not place the product on
a bed, couch, carpet or similar surface, as they may obstruct the ventilation openings. This product is not designed for internal
installation; Do not place the product in an enclosed place such as a bookcase or shelf, unless adequate ventilation can be achieved
or the manufacturer's instructions are followed.
•
The LCD screen used in this product is made of glass. Therefore, it may break when the product is hit hard or with a
sharp object. If the LCD screen is broken, be careful not to get injured by the broken glass.
•
Heat sources — Keep the product away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, and other heat-producing products
(including amplifiers).
•
To avoid fire, do not place any candles or uncovered flames on or near the TV.
•
To avoid fire or risk of electric shock, do not place the AC power cord under the TV or other heavy objects.
•
Do not place heavy objects on this product or stand on it. Doing so may cause injury if the product is turned upside down. Extreme
care should be taken when children and pets are near the product.
• The LCD monitor is a high-tech product with 1,049,088 (LC-32LE280X only)/2,073,600 (LC-40LE280X only) pixels, giving
you beautiful image details.
Because of the very large number of pixels, some inactive pixels may sometimes appear on the screen as fixed points of
green, blue, or red.
This is within product specifications and is not a failure.
•
Notes when transporting the TV
Do not transport the TV by holding or applying pressure to the screen. Be sure to always move the TV with two people
holding it with two hands — one hand on each side of the TV.
•
Do not display still images for a long time, as this may cause residual images on the screen.
•
Install the machine where the AC power cord can be easily unplugged from the outlet, or from the AC cord connector on the back of the machine.
• If the TV is not placed in a stable enough position, there is a possibility of danger due to the TV falling. Many injuries,
especially to children, can be prevented by taking simple precautions such as:
• Use a cabinet or stand recommended by the TV manufacturer.
•
Use only furniture that can safely support the TV.
•
Make sure that the TV does not protrude from the edge of the furniture where the TV is located.
•
Do not place the TV on tall furniture (for example, a dresser or bookcase) without securing both the furniture and the TV to suitable support.
•
Do not place the TV on cloth or other material placed between the TV and the furniture where the TV is located.
•
Teach children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television or remote control.
•
Do not install the TV in a location subject to dripping water such as under an air conditioner or near a dehumidifier.
• Water dripping into the TV and water inside the TV may result in fire, electric shock or damage.
•
It is recommended to install the TV at least 1 m away from the outlet of the air conditioner.
