In a large pressure system, a non-return valve
naturally produced temperature fluctuations (increase in pressure due to thermal expansion) – this
also applies to hot spraying systems.
A safety valve
protects the reciprocating pump and the pressure system in cases where the air
inlet pressure exceeds its maximum permissible value.
