Use appropriate cables
When connecting cables to the input
and output jacks, use only the cables
provided or sold by Nikon for the
purpose, to maintain compliance with
product regulations.
Z_ Handle moving parts with care
Be careful that your fingers or other
objects are not pinched by tile lens
cover or other moving parts.
CD-ROMs
Tile CD-ROMs included with tills device
should not be played back on audio CD
equipment. Playing CD-ROMs on an
audio CD player could cause hearing
loss or damage tile equipment.
Observe caution when using
the flash
Using tile flash close to your subject's
eyes could cause temporary visual
impairment. Particular care should be
observed if photographing infants,
when the flash should be no less than
I m (3 ft4 in.) from the subject.
Do not operate the flash with
the flash window touching a
person or object
Failure to observe this precaution could
result in burns or fire.
Avoid contact with liquid
crystal
Should tile monitor break, care should
be taken to avoid injury caused by
broken glass and to prevent liquid
crystal from tile monitor touching tile
skin or entering tile eyes or mouth.
Z_ Turn the power off when using
inside an airplane or the
hospital
Turn tile power off while inside an
airplane during takeoff and landing.
Also, before boarding an airplane, set
the GPStracking information recording
function to OFR If using in a hospital, be
sure to follow the instructions of the
hospital. The electromagnetic waves
emitted by this camera may disrupt tile
electronic systems of the airplane or
tile instruments of the hospitak
Do not touch the camera
directly for a long time in low
temperatures of 0°C (32°F) or
lower
If the skin contacts metal parts etc., it
may result in injury to the skin. Wear
gloves etc.
Drivers should not operate the
camera while driving.
This could cause a traffic accident.
Observe caution when using
the movie light
Do not look directly into tile movie
light. This could damage the eyes or
result in visual impairment.
