Symptom
Travel speed low and vibration
weak.
Travels forward or backward but
unable to switch direction.

Possible Problem
Clutch slips?
V-belt slips?
Excessive oil in vibrator?
Trouble in vibrator internals?
Aeration in hydraulic oil for for travel
reversing system?
Engine speed incorrect?
Hydraulic pump problems?
Direction Control Lever installation
wrong?
Broken or defective oil hose?
Aeration in hydraulic oil?
Excessive oil in reversing system?
Hydraulic pump clogged with trash?
Cylinder piston bearing failure?
V-belt disengaged or slips?
Clutch slips?
Vibrator locks?
Cylinder piston bearing failure?
Piston inside hydraulic pump not
moving smoothly?
Vibrator cylinder piston does not move
smoothly
Solution
Adjust or replace clutch.
Adjust or replace V-belt.
Fill to correct level.
Check vibrator assembly for any
worn or defective parts, replace any
defective parts.
Purge air in hydraulic oil. (Bleed plug)
Set engine speed to correct RPM.
Check hydraulic pump.
Correct installation of lDirection
Control Lever.
Replace oil hose.
Purge air in hydraulic oil. (Bleed plug)
Fill to correct level.
Clean valve inside hydraulic pump.
Check piston bearing in cylinder for
leakage.
Engage V-belt, adjust or replace.
Adjust clutch, replace if necessary.
Check vibrator and correct problem.
Check piston bearing in cylinder for
leakage at USH packing.
Adjust or replace.
Adjust or replace.
