Repair Instructions
Procedure
Observe ESD guidelines!
•
Switch the generator OFF.
•
Switch the system breaker OFF.
Preparatory Worksteps
•
Disconnect all cables from the TV CCU.
•
Remove the front shielding plate from the TV CCU.
•
Remove the transformer unit;
to this, only loosen the four mounting screws and pull out the unit.
•
Remove the TV CCU.
•
Remove the rear EMI shield.
Removing the Old Fuse Block
•
Remove the solder from the 4 connector terminals for the F8 fuse block on the backplane
board.
Use the solder removal tool!
•
Remove the fuse block from the backplane.
•
Completely remove the solder from the soldering terminals with the solder removal tool.
Install the New Fuse Block
•
Insert the new fuse block turned 45° into the adjacent diagonal holes.
•
Solder in the connector terminals.
•
Insert the new melt insert into the fuse cartridge.
•
Insert the fuse cartridge with the melt insert into the fuse block.
