9. Slide cable mounting plate under side panel lip
(Figure 6). Place cable mounting bracket over
mounting plate.
10. Install two (2) hex bolts and lock washers through
cable mounting bracket and into mounting plate.
Tighten bracket to tractor side lip.
11. Bolt J-clamp to cable mounting bracket.

INSTALLING AND REMOVING
ATTACHMENT
WARNING: Factory wheel weights must be
used with Sno-Thro attachment.
Use a rear weight box for up to 200 lbs. of
additional weight for increased stability.
Recommended Attachments
NOTE: Tire chains are recommended. A carburetor
heater is recommended on tractors 931019 (serial
number 006200 and lower) and 931026 (serial number
001400 and lower).
To Install Attachment:
1. Move protective cover from front PTO shaft to
center PTO shaft.
2. Apply light coat of grease to tractor saddle
brackets, PTO shaft and shaft assembly.
3. Align front of tractor with pivot rod on Sno-Thro.

OPERATION
12. Position chute on auger/impeller housing (Figure
7).
13. Fasten with chute clamps and tap screws (in
parts bag). Hand tighten tap screws to 60 in. lbs.
NOTE: Chute must rotate freely. See Service and
Adjustments.
14. Reinstall tractor hood.
15. Refer to Operation for installation instructions.

4. Raise lock stops and latches on tractor. Carefully
move tractor forward until pivot rod is cradled in
tractor saddle brackets. Lower locks and latches.
5. Slide universal shaft assembly onto front PTO
shaft and secure.
6. Fasten chute control support to right side of
tractor on steering tower with carriage bolts, lock
washers, and nuts (See Lift Linkage & Controls in
Parts) .
