How to start the game and plug the palette
After installing the "Connect' Drawing" application on your Lexibook® tablet, connect the palette's micro USB cable to the
micro USB port located on the right side of your Lexibook® tablet. Turn your tablet on and select the "Connect' Drawing"
application to launch the game that you want to play.
Inserting the micro USB plug
WARNING: Before connecting the cable's micro USB side to your tablet, please ask your parents' or an adult's
help. Do not install the cable on your own. Do not force entry as you might damage the fragile micro USB plug.
Insert the micro USB plug into the micro USB port. Make sure the pins (longer side) are facing up just as illustrated below.
Note to parents:
Please make sure your child inserts the plug the right way.
The toy is only to be connected to Class II
equipment bearing the following symbol.
WARNING: Mal-function or loss of memory may be caused by strong frequency interference or electrostatic discharge.
Should any abnormal function occur, reset the unit, or unplug the cable and plug it in again. If the problem persists, read
the instructions carefully to ensure that nothing has been omitted.

Activity Description

The Lexibook® Connect' Drawing gives you access to 10 drawing activities that are fun and creative. Each activity contains
5 tools adjustable to 6 different sizes and 1 eraser. You can also choose from 20 different colours to make amazing
drawings!
Mix colours using your "Connect' Drawing" palette!
Use your palette to mix different colours in all of the activities. With the "Connect' Drawing" brush, select one of the 5
colours on your palette. Then, select a second one. Depending on the colours you choose, you will get different hues of a
colour or create a new colour. Press on the
Colour mixing examples: blue + yellow = green
red + yellow = orange
yellow + white = light yellow
With the Lexibook® Connect' Drawing app, you will learn how to create colours using the 3 primary colours.
1. My Drawing
Draw a picture using the different tools and colours provided by the "Connect Drawing" app. Click on the
"save" button to save your drawing. You can also create a new blank page for a new drawing.
2. My Colouring
In this activity, you can choose from 20 black and white images. Use the 20 colours that are available to
colour these images, and make them fun. Just as in the first activity, you can save, undo and start over.
3. My Drawing Lesson
Learn how to draw by following lines that appear on the screen. Click on the arrow in the top right to go to
the next step. Once you have followed all steps, you will have a complete drawing that you can colour. Just
as in the first activity, you can save, undo and start over.
4. My Composition
A list of images is made available for you to stick in the background of your choice. Use your finger or the
pen to scroll the list of images from left to right and vice versa. Then, choose the items that you wish to use.
Use your imagination and the drawing tools to create an incredible picture! Just as in the first activity, you
can save, undo and start over.
