TAILGATE

OPENING THE TAILGATE FROM INSIDE

With the tailgate unlocked, lift the
button (1) fig. 5 to open it from inside
the car.

CLOSING THE TAILGATE

FROM OUTSIDE

(where provided)
The buttons on the tailgate interior trim
operate:
 (2) fig. 6: button to close the
tailgate;
 (3) fig. 6: button to close the tailgate
and lock all the doors, including the
tailgate.
To stop the tailgate moving, press either
of the two close buttons.

AUTOMATICALLY OPENING/CLOSING
THE ELECTRICALLY OPERATED
TAILGATE IN "HANDS-FREE" MODE
(where provided)
To make the tailgate move, go behind
the centre of the car, about 50 cm away
from the tailgate, and move your foot
under the bumper, making a kicking
movement, fig. 7.
