CALIBER NXT PLUS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
M. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Annual Maintenance
To ensure that your gas appliance operates in a safe
and efficient manner, it needs to be inspected at least
on an annual basis by a qualified field service person.
Like any gas appliance, This gas appliance must be
tuned up to ensure optimum performance.
2. Cleaning the Burner and Control Compartment
Keep the burner and control compartment clean by
brushing and vacuuming at least once a year. Always
turn the wall (or dashboard switch) and the gas valve
off before cleaning.
Note:
After extended periods of burning, film may
build up on the flame sensor (intermittent pilot
ignition). The flame sensor should be cleaned
annually with emery cloth to remove this build up.
3. HRV200PLUS
Please refer to the HRV200PLUS manual for additional
maintenance requirements for the ventilation portion
of the Caliber NXT Plus.
4. Ember Bed Bulb Replacement
a.
Remove two screws from dash plate holding each
bulb bracket.
b.
Pull socket down and forward to access bulb,
replace the bulb and return to installed position.
See Figure 20.

5. Log Removal/Replacement
If removal of the logs becomes necessary, remove
the three loose logs first. Remove screws on each
end of the burner assembly. Lift the grate burner
assembly up until the right side clears the hearth
refractory. While still lifting, swing the right end towards
you until the opposite end of the assembly clears the
hearth.
To remove the back log, remove the screws holding
the log bracket. Lift the log and bracket out of the
appliance.
To remove the hearth logs, remove screws and lift
out.
