Note
Take into consideration the steps in the charger's commissioning log to complete the
installation
Commissioning
No.
1 Measure and write down the following values before the first power on:
• Voltage level
• Earth loop impedance
• Insulation resistance
2 Switch on the following switch elements on the SICHARGE UC charging station for the low voltage
cable/AC of the SICHARGE UC MastHood
• Backup fuse
• Residual current operated circuit breaker
• MastHood MCB if necessary
3 Measure and write down the following values:
• Voltage AC
• In manual mode or resistance and continuity measurement
–
Voltage DC
–
DC polarity on the DC contactors
–
DC polarity on the contact hood
–
Check CP signal and PE
4 Wait until the SIMATIC S7-1200 CPU of the SICHARGE UC MastHood has fully started
5 Flash S7 with SICHARGE-UC-cascade SW (If with linux board instead of S7 then N/A)
6 In case the Masthood S7-1200 (CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC 6ES7 214-1AG40-0XB0) is different from the
one in the project (CPU 1214C DC/DC/Rly 6ES7 214-1HG40-0XB0), the device must be changed in
the HW Config of the S7
7 For use with MastHood, first go to Device Configuration (HW Config) and remove the AIxRTD card
used to measure the plug temperatures.
8 Flash the AKKA with the latest Software.
9 After the checking the SICHARGE UC MastHood, mount the plastic cover
10 Close the maintenance door
11 Initiate charging session with EV for verification
