CD/M D Unit (opt ional)
In addition to playing a CD with this unit
alone, you can also control external CD/MD
units.
If you connect an optional CD unit with the
CD TEXT function, the CD TEXT information
will appear in the display when you play a CD
TEXT disc.

Playing a disc

(Wit h t his unit )
Insert the disc (labeled side up).
Playback starts automatically.
If a disc is already inserted, press (SOURCE)
repeatedly until "CD" appears to start
playback.

• Depending on t he recording met hod used on t he
disc, it may t ake a minut e or more bef ore playing
t he f irst t rack.
• Depending on t he condit ion of t he disc, it may
not play back (page 7).
• While t he f irst /last t rack on t he disc is playing, if
t he SEEK/AM S cont rol dial is t urned, playback
skips t o t he last /f irst t rack of t he disc.
• When t he last t rack on t he disc is over, playback
rest art s f rom t he f irst t rack of t he disc.
• Wit h opt ional unit s connect ed, playback of t he
same source w ill cont inue on t o t he opt ional CD/
M D unit .
• If you play a high-bit rat e M P3 f ile such as 320
kbps, sound may be int ermit t ent .
