Set t ing t he clock
The clock uses a 12-hour digital indication.
Example: To set the clock to 10:08

Press (MENU) , then press either side of
(DISC/PRESET) repeatedly until "CLOCK"
appears.
1 Press (ENTER) .
The hour indication flashes.
2 Press either side of (DISC/PRESET) to
set the hour.
3 Press the (+) side of (SEEK) .
The minute indication flashes.
4 Press either side of (DISC/PRESET) to
set the minute.

Press (ENTER) .
The clock starts. After the clock setting is
completed, the display returns to normal
play mode.
Tip
When D.INFO mode is set t o ON, t he t ime is alw ays
displayed (page 18).

CD/M D Unit (opt ional)
In addition to playing a CD with this unit, you
can also control external CD/MD units.
Note
If you connect an opt ional CD unit w it h t he CD
TEXT f unct ion, t he CD TEXT inf ormat ion w ill
appear in t he display w hen you play a CD TEXT
disc.

Playing a disc

(Wit h t his unit )

Press (OPEN) and insert the disc
(labeled side up).

Close the front panel.
Playback starts automatically.
If a disc is already inserted, press (SOURCE)
repeatedly until "CD" appears to start
playback.
To Press
(OFF)
Stop playback
Eject the disc (OPEN) then Z
Skip tracks (SEEK) (./>)
– Automatic [once for each track]
Music Sensor
(SEEK) (m/M)
Fast-forward/
reverse [hold to desired point]

Notes
• When t he last t rack on t he disc is over, playback
rest art s f rom t he f irst t rack of t he disc.
