This item allows you to select the performance state that the BIOS will set before OS handoff.

HardWare P states (HWP) [Disabled]
Allows you to enable or disable HWP support.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
Intel(R) SpeedStep(tm) [Enabled]
Allows your system to adjust the CPU's voltage and cores frequency, resulting in decreased
power consumption and heat production.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
The following item appear only when you set the Intel(R) SpeedStep(tm) to [Enabled].
Turbo Mode [Enabled]
This item allows you to automatically set the CPU cores to run faster than the base
operating frequency when it is below the operating power, current and temperature
specification limit.
