TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE (continued)
PROBLEM
Lyrics do not appear on
the TV screen
No sound from mic
While playing a CDG and
singing with the microphone,
the music or vocals cut out
No sound or low volume
from the microphone
While playing a CDG track
with music and vocals, only
music or vocals play

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Video cable is not connected
properly to the TV.
TV does not have video line input.
Source has not been selected on
your TV.
A CDG is loaded but the CDG
indicator on the monitor is off.
Mic volume control.
MIC is OFF.
The MIC is not connected to the
MIC jack securely.
Master Volume is set to
Minimum.
Microphone is not positioned
correctly.
AVC is activated.
You are playing a music only track
and the balance is not set
properly.
Echo is set to minimum.
Balance is set either to the left or
right.

SOLUTION
Follow direction in the "
CONNECTIONS" section.
Connect from AV OUT of Singing
Machine to the VIDEO IN on your TV.
Confirm you are playing a CDG.
Use your TV Remote to select the
corresponding VIDEO input.
Check the disc to be sure it is clean.
Adjust mic volume to max, and then
re-adjust to a comfortable level.
Switch Mic to the ON position.
Securely connect the MIC to the MIC
jack.
Adjust the Master Volume knob to
a comfortable level.
Speak or sing into the top of the
microphone; no more than 1" away
from your mouth.
Switch AVC feature off.
Play track that includes music and vocal
or set the balance knob to the mid
point.
Increase the echo level as needed.
Adjust balance to middle.
