Because downloading
large messages can
consume handheld
resources, the VersaMail
application displays the
size and asks if you want
to continue downloading
any message that
exceeds your maximum
message size, up to a
total size of 5MB.
Tungsten™ E2 Handheld
Sending and Receiving Email Messages
PRC (PRC) This is a Palm OS® application that you can install and run on your handheld.
PDB (PDB) This is a file that works with specific Palm OS applications.
ZIP (ZIP) These are compressed files that contain other types of files, for example, text files or
Word documents. You can download and uncompress ("unzip") a Zip file and then view the
contents on your handheld.

Working with a downloaded attachment

In the message list, a paper clip on a message's envelope icon indicates that the message has an
attachment that has been downloaded. You can view, edit, or install an attached file, depending on
the file type.

In the Inbox, select the message
with the attachment.

[ & ] OPTIONAL
for each downloaded message to view the body of the email message plus any
attachments, up to the maximum message size.
