1212 I/O Utility
for which the file has no data, then its parameters will be set to default
values. If a file contains parameters for only a single card, the data will
always be loaded, even if the card is now in a different location.
Close
This command closes the current document. If the document has been
edited, you will be prompted to save your edits before the document is
closed.
Save
If you started with a new, untitled document, this command will bring up
the standard Save dialog box, allowing you to enter a name for the file and
to select where it will be stored.
If the document has already been saved and named, this command will
simply save any edits you have made to the existing document.
All settings in the window are saved, including the state of the Mute and
Through buttons.
If you have multiple 1212 I/O cards installed in your computer, the
parameters for all of the cards are saved into a single file.
Save As...
This command brings up the standard Save dialog box, allowing you to
enter a name for the file and to select where it will be stored.
Revert To Saved...
This command returns you to the last saved version of the current file,
undoing any edits which you have made. A dialog box will appear, giving
you an opportunity to cancel the operation.
Save As Defaults...
This command saves the current settings to the 1212 I/O Preferences file (in
the MacOS) or to the System Registry (in Windows 95). All settings are
saved, except for the Mute All and Through All buttons.
On startup, these settings will be loaded into 1212 I/O, and used for the
Auto-Routing Mode.
The default Preferences file routes each input to the same output, with
internal clock source, 48kHz sample rate, and analog input trims all the
way up.
Most Recently Used files (Windows 95)
This list shows the most recently used files, allowing you to open them
easily.
