A TFTP server with an appropriate TFTP client for accessing the TFTP serv-
er is needed for the "Auto Provisioning" procedure and the manual TFTP
firmware update via the Web-Based Management tool in optiPoint 150 S.
You can configure a TFTP server on a local computer for administration ac-
tivities. This scenario is described here.

Installation and Configuration

The following description provides information on the installation and con-
figuration of the TFTP server "3CDaemon" from 3COM (www.3com.com) .
Every other server program with TFTP function can also be used for this
operation, provided the configuration is correct.
In light of the number of different configuration options possible depend-
ing on the operating system and software used, for
example, only a sample procedure is provided here.
