Making Predefined Exposure Adjustments

Follow these steps to make predefined exposure adjustments:

Make sure that the camera is set to Program or Manual
user mode. (See page 4-2 for details.)

Open the lens cover and turn the camera dial to

Do one of the following:
In Program mode, press the button (next to the up
arrow) to increase the exposure setting, or the
(next to the down arrow) to decrease it. You can make
nine different settings in increments of 0.5, from
2.0 to 2.0 EV (Exposure Value).
In Manual mode, press the ISO button (under
Exposure ) to select AUTO , then press the
increase the exposure setting, or the button to decrease
it. You can choose from 21 settings in increments of 0.2,
from 2.0 to 2.0 EV.

Exposure Value is a combination of shutter speed and aperture
