Pictures you have taken do not appear on the monitor.
Possible cause
The power is off.
The camera is in the
shooting mode.
There are no pictures on
the card.
There is a problem with
the card.
The camera is connected
to a TV.
The date recorded with the image data is wrong.
Possible cause
The date/time is not set.
The battery is exhausted.
The camera has been left
with the battery removed.
The settings are returned to the factory default settings when the camera is turned off.
Possible cause
All Reset is set to ON.
Remove the battery just
after turning the camera
off.
Corrective action
With the lens barrier closed, press
the monitor on.
Press quickly twice, or close the lens
barrier and then press
playback mode.
NO PICTURE appears on the monitor. Record
pictures.
Refer to the "Error codes".
The monitor does not function when the video
cable is connected to the camera.
Corrective action
Set the date/time. The clock adjustment is not
factory-preset.
When the battery runs down, the date/time
setting is canceled or becomes inaccurate.
Insert a charged battery and reset the date and
time.
If the camera is left for about a day with the
battery removed, the date/time setting is
canceled. Set the date/time again.
Corrective action
Select the SETUP tab in the mode menu and
set All Reset to OFF.
Removing the battery just after turning the
camera off may cause the settings to return to
the factory default settings.
Wait a few seconds before removing the
battery.
