Turn on the Bluetooth function of this instrument
and enable Bluetooth communications of the
smart device application near the instrument.
Bluetooth setting types and connection methods
Type Description
Installing a Bluetooth MIDI compatible
application on a smart device will allow users
Bluetooth MIDI
to operate the digital piano from the
application and send and receive MIDI data.
Connect to a smart device to play music and
Bluetooth Audio other audio data contained on the smart
device.

Before using an application, be sure to check the latest support status and operating environment
information for each application on the Kawai Global website:
https://www.kawai-global.com/apps
For Bluetooth MIDI and Bluetooth Audio, only one smart device can be connected to each application
at the same time.
Since the digital piano cannot transmit using Bluetooth Audio, speakers and headphones cannot be
connected via Bluetooth.
Bluetooth® Audio Volume
This Bluetooth Audio Volume setting allows players to adjust the playback volume of music streamed from smart
devices, which is output through the instrument's speakers. This setting provides an aditional method to adjust
the audio playback volume, aft f f er using the smart device's volume control and the instrument's [MASTER
VOLUME] slider. r r

The value can be adjusted in the range from -15 to
+15.

Connection method

the Bluetooth MIDI compatible application.

pairing, it will be connected again automatically
every time the power is turned on.
