To reduce the risk of electrocution, never use the extended-reach
hedge trimmer near any electrical power lines. Contact with or use near
power lines may cause serious injury or electric shock resulting in death.

trimmer. Hold the extended-reach hedge trimmer with both hands to avoid
loss of control.

This section contains the prescribed general safety warnings and instructions
for handheld, motor-operated electric lawn trimmers, lawn edge trimmers,
grass trimmers, brush cutters, and brush saws contained in UL 62841-4-4.
Additional important warnings and instructions are provided in subsequent
sections of this manual.
Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and
specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all
instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious injury.
Safety Warnings:
