% How display range 1 is shown varies accord-
ing to the selected menu for the driver's dis-
play.
Display ranges 1 flash red in the driver's dis-

play and the RACE START Release Brake to
Start message appears.
RACE START with boost function: if RACE
START with boost function is activated, the
race start messages are supplemented with
the Boost Active information. In addition,
lower center display range 2 will flash red
(vehicles with AMG DYNAMIC PLUS package).
% If the brake pedal is not released after a short
while, RACE START will be canceled. The
RACE START Canceled message appears in
the driver's display.
Take your foot off the brake, but keep the

accelerator pedal depressed.
The vehicle will pull away at maximum acceler-
ation. The RACE START Active message
appears in the driver's display.
RACE START will be deactivated immediately if
you release the accelerator pedal during RACE
START or if any of the activation conditions are no
longer fulfilled. The RACE START Canceled
sage appears in the driver's display.
% After using it several times in quick succes-
sion, RACE START will be unavailable until a
certain distance has been driven.

▌Function of AMG RIDE CONTROL +
AMG RIDE CONTROL + is an air suspension sys-
tem with variable damping for improved driving
characteristics. The all-round level control system

ensures the best possible suspension and con-
stant ground clearance, even with a laden vehicle.
When driving at speed, the vehicle is lowered
automatically to improve driving safety and to
reduce energy consumption. You also have the
option of manually adjusting the vehicle level.
The damping is set individually for each wheel and
is affected by the following factors:
